We are looking for someone to take the lead on our people operations at the multi use stadium known formally as the Olympic Stadium but now better known as The London Stadium, home to West Ham United Football Club and British Athletics.

The Head of People Operations plays an integral part in our operation at The London Stadium, leading an integrated People service that delivers business goals through engaging people-focused policies and best in class practices and championing the People agenda across the business operation.

When The London Stadium opens its turnstiles to guests Delaware North play an integral role to those visitors experience and our Head of People Operations will oversee the 1,200 event day staff who will engage with the up to 80,000 strong crowd.

Our event day workforce is made up of direct variable worker as well as third party agency staff.  We work with a number of agencies to ensure we have the best talent in London working at our venue.  Working using our time and attendance system Time Target the People Team ensure that The London Stadium recruit, book, engage and maintain a strong, happy and talented workforce.

The ideal candidate will be part CIPD qualified (or similar), have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role in an organisation that has a large variable/casual workforce, has managed multiple agency relationships, proven knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures and good working knowledge of UK Employment Law.
