Become proficient in the use of the procurement system and assist the Procurement Systems Manager, supporting training of team members and operating management

Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, allergen, nutrition, and other relevant data, updating records accordingly

Update products within the procurement system and supporting files, capturing and maintaining supplier enquiries, and providing accurate procurement data

Escalate electronic purchasing system issues for investigation or resolution

Adhere to Delaware North procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistent approach and reduce any potential risk to the company

Manage stock requests working with the real time stock system, stock rotation, and date checks, guaranteeing appropriate stock take before and after events, and ensuring team members adhere to Delaware North’s stock handling policy

Complete regular checks on the prep team, ensuring food produced is of consistent high quality, also producing wastage reports following events days

Assist with general administrative tasks and maintenance

Collaborate with the team to improve sales and guest satisfaction whilst monitoring profit projections

Ensure that operation is in accordance with current legal and Delaware North practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility

Lead a high performing team, proactively driving all elements of business plans to achieve a culture of high engagement, productivity, and guest service excellence

Steer event day people activities at the London Stadium, whilst also contributing to the people agenda across the UK business operation

Analyse and identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions to support business needs and goals

Monitor the casual payroll to ensure financial targets are met whilst meeting operational need, following company protocol for processing, reporting, raising queries, and managing holiday and absence related deductions

Collaborate to support the recruitment and selection process of casual workers, deliver onboarding, orientation sessions, and assessment days, as well as leading the design, implementation, and delivery of the learning and development programme
- Manage the event planning for all guests, including venue owner partners, sponsors, and box holders, prioritising the guest experience
- Ensure supplier list rates and privileges are accurate
- Diary management for events, ensuring accurate information and successful planning of operation of events, collaborating with relevant heads of department
- Manage the production and distribution of the weekly function sheets, and lead weekly briefing meeting with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Ensure company accounting policies are adhered to and the operation is in accordance with current practice of health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards
